Importance of the journal AUC Philosophica et Historica - Studia Sociologica in the history of Czech sociology

Abstract
Our research aims to enrich the area of the historiy of Czech sociology by focusing on a slightly overlooked resource, journal Acta Universitatis Carolinae Philosophica et Historica - Studia Sociologica. This journal has been published by the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University already since 1967.
We show that 21 issues of the journal over the past 50 years can also be conceived as a certain document of the historical developments and changes in Czech sociology as such. To describe the main features of the journal, we have used content analysis and also citation analysis (based on the methodology of social network analysis).
