Review of the book: Lukáš Fasora, Old to Consult, Young to Fight : Radicalisation of the young generation of Czech Socialists 1900-1920, Brno: Centrum pro studium demokracie a kultury 2015, 242 p. The book represents a pioneering application of generational methods and an interesting contribution to the study of modern Czech history.
Especially important is the capture of an turbulent era, full of revolutionary ideas and recruitment to radical action. By analyzing the topics of the youths author turns our attention back to the now forgotten context of stabilization of the first Czechoslovak Republic after WWI.
