Period of Tertiary Studies is in many respects a specific life stage. The prolonged period during which young people stay in a systematic education brings a new era with its specific features.
This allows them to further develop their personality in terms of cognitive abilities, expand their frame of mind, acquire and promote their intellectual abilities. The present text examines the functioning of students in a university context, especially over how the university action develops cognitive abilities and personality of students.
It presents the period of tertiary studies as a hardly explored, multi-thematic area that deserves further research.
