In Czech education system, there is clear trend to support integration of pupils with physical disability. However, inclusion of a pupil with severe impairment brings many diffi culties.
Those are most prominent in physical education where consequence of physical impairment leads to biggest handicap. The aim of this work is to point out at possibilities of integration of pupil with severe progressive disease into physical education ("the PE") at fi rst grade of primary school.
Methods: We have used a case study, questionnaire and interview methods because of unique occurrence of this disease in primary school. The case study is focused on pupil with epidermolysis bullosa dystrophica ("the EBD") disease.
Part of the research is focused on classmates, teachers, teacher's assistant and girl's family.
