Immunity - not only an important pathogenetic factor, but also an integral part of psychoneuroendocrine-immune regulation

Abstract

Paper deals with the immunity not only as an important part of reactivity of the organism, but also as a key pathogenetic factor. This is because of its links with neuroendocrine functions and joint mediator systems.

Immunity is therefore an important factor in psycho-neuro-endocrine relations both in health and also particularly in stress diseases. In the interdisciplinary psycho-neuro-immunology (PNI) the issue of immunity plays a decisive role.
