Monograph The Book of Qoheleth - Unsettling Book for Unsettled analyses the Book of Qoheleth from the point of view of textual criticism, content and provides also with updating interpretation. The author firstly introduces history of research and follows by discussing philosophical context of the book both in its ancient setting (Greek and Hellenistic) and in modern reception (Nietzsche, existential philosophy, deconstruction).
The main part of the book represents commentary (almost 300 pages) that deals with the text gradually text unit by text unit in following steps: important introductory and intertextual remarks, authors's own critical translation (based on MT text and taking into account readings of LXX, V and also of fragments of 4Q110 and 4Q109), text-critical and translation issues, exposition and significance (i.e. application of the text in current context).
