Tell Fekheriye Inscription: A Process of Authority on the Edge of the Assyrian Empire

Abstrakt

This chapter is devoted to the analysis of the Assyrian-Aramaic bilingual inscription on a statue discovered at Tell Fekheriye (Syria) in 1979. In this study the authors analyze the two texts of the inscription and present a new look at its historical context.
