The Effectiveness of Different Approaches to Excursions in Waterworks

Abstract

In this paper, results of a pedagogical experiment on a traditional and an alternative conception of one waterworks excursion are described. Students who underwent the excursion in the alternative form scored significantly better than the students who underwent the original museum guide-organized excursion based on the posttest results.

The results suggest changes in the guidance may lead to improving effectiveness of this excursion.
