Cultural transfers (not only) on the colonial frontier of the New World

Abstract

The article focuses on the problem of cultural transfer on the concrete example of the Jesuit missions on the northern frontier of New Spain sin the 17th and18th century. It analyzes the mechanisms of cultrual transfer and its reflection in the preserved documentation.
