Abstract
The collection of oracles in Jer 21:11-23:6 originally aimed to legitimize Zedekiah's rule and delegitimize his three predecessors. The revision in MT deals with Zedekiah's infamous end and weakens the delegitimation of Jehoiachin's dynastic line.
