Abstract
The monograph focuses on the role of pathos as one of the key concepts of art, poetry, philosophy and art history in the 1930's and 1940's. Furthemore, the publication analyses this concept in the context of art historical work of Růžena Vacková and Pavel Kropáček, taking into account the period philosophy, art theory and aesthetics.
