The publication is based on the concept of cultural, social-economic and political changes that affect both stages of lifelong learning, jointly form the objectives and content of adult education and, last but not least, determine the social value of education effects. The current paradigm in adult education - lifelong learning - thus logically constitutes the main axis of the whole publication.
Emphasis was put on the development synthesis and the analysis of current topics in adult education as well as the systematization of verified knowledge in today's andragogy.
