In this book, the author claims that the "disappearance of God" doesn't have to be a mere "dark night." The commandment of love can lead to a mystical experience ... The author states that associating the commandments of love to God and the commandment of love to each other - the core of the Gospel of Jesus - is a way of rediscovering the God who, in particular, "disappeared" from our relationship with our neighbors.
