Currently, there is a growing evidence for better outcome of patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation treated in specialized centers as compared to regional hospitals. Recent guidelines of European resuscitation council (ERC) and European Society of Cardiology (ESC) recommend the creation of national cardiac arrest centers network.
Similar initiative has been started also in Czech republic (initiated by Czech Acute Cardiac Care Association of Czech Society of Cardiology). Hereby we present main points for the creation of Czech cardiac arrest centers network .
