Transport, fear, justice : Brynych's adaptations of Czech prose on the World War II

Abstract

The article deals with three film adaptations of Czech prose works concerning the World War II shot by Zbyněk Brynych in 1960s. Each of these three films is an example of a specific adaptation strategy.

These strategies are analyzed.
