Education of the Czech Deaf children: a focus on language education

Abstract

The paper presents some aspects of education of the Deaf children in the Czech Republic. Czech Language and Czech Sign Language in the two different views of deafness (monolingual and monocultural vs. bilingual and bicultural) and their implications in the field of education were targeted.
