Rivaroxaban - 4 year experience in the treatment of deep vein thrombosis

Abstract

Venous thromboembolism is a serious and frequent disease. It is dangerous not only due to the risk of fatal pulmonary embolism, but also due to the late consequences.

There is a big progress in the management of the disease in recent years because of the availability of new anticoagulants. We present more than 4 years of our experience with therapy of venous thromboembolism with rivaroxaban.
