Non-Religious Spirituality as a Case of Critique of Institutionalized Religion

Publication at Hussite Theological Faculty |
2016

Abstract

The article is meant as a contribution to discussion among religious scholars on so called religiophobia. The author suggests that Non-Religious Spirituality, such as promoted by Stanislav Grof and others, can be considered as a case of religiophobia.

The main reason for this suggestion is that the idea of Non-Religious Spirituality is based on presumption that Spirituality and Religion can be separated and put into sharp opposition to each other.
