Abstract
The objective of the book is an interpretation of fieldwork as a basic methodological tool of social and cultural anthropology. The author presents all phases of fieldwork, from the initiation to the completion.
The author also focuses on the issue of recording ethnographic data, process of reflexivity, research ethic; he also includes a discussion on production of ethnography and its styles of writing. The book comprehensively presents the matter of fieldwork and its changes during the history of social and cultural anthropology.
