Abstrakt
Speakers from interdisciplinary areas of research - philosophy, cultural science, political science, lawyers - discussed the leading question in which way The People's Republic of China is currently in a phase of crucial transition. Being on the point of becoming a future leading world power, maybe even before the US, China wants to redefine its role in the world.
Thus it has to rethink its traditions, and redefine its identity. A special panel was intended to function as a platform for young scientists mainly from FHS/Charles University Prague who presented her/his papers.
