Abstract
Although patients with mental disabilities may be more prone to obesity than the general population, the diagnosis is usually contraindicated in bariatric surgery. The lecture aims to summarize the latest knowledge related to this topic, outline the specifics of psychological assessment of these patients, and finally present a case report.
