Abstract

This texte deals with the rhetoric figure called oxymoron (conjonction of two or more words which significations are opposite). It focuses on the philosophical and anthropological dimensions of the oxymoron in relation with the absence of formalised negation in the subconscient postulated by Freud.

Through their illustrations in Blanchot's work and his "oxymoric" poetic, it finally proposes some analogies between the ontology of the language and that of the human being.
