This paper which was a contribution to the IVth Conference of Myth Criticism, universidad Complutense, Madrid, on octobre 26 2016, deals with the Maurice Blanchot's reinterpretation of the myth of Narcissus in a corpus of author's textes (L'Écriture du désastre, L'Espace littéraire, Celui qui ne m'accompagnait pas). In conformity with the mythocritical method, we compare the Blanchot's version of the myth with that of Ovide which Blanchot refers to, and through the analysis of dyadic and triadic structures we try to make clear how and why Blanchot makes work this myth in favor of his deconstructivist aim.
