Metastatic melanoma detected by 99mtc-sestamibi spect/ct imaging during differentiated thyroid cancer follow-up

Abstract

The case report describes an incidental detection of the malignant melanoma metastasis in the right axillary lymph node by means of 99mTc-sestamibi SPECT/ CT during the thyroid cancer follow-up imaging in a 43-year-old woman with positive history of thyroid cancer and malignant melanoma on the right arm.
