Abstrakt
This contribution analyzes to which extend the self could be accessible. The main topic is to distinguish between the Self and the Same (Levinas): the same is inaccessible but the Self is relatively accessible.
Insofar as the Same does not act in seclusion it is open; but since it is acting out of the realm of meaning it is at the same time in relation to this realm inaccessible.
