Abstract
The paper presents a short overview and information about a new publication entitled Correspondence in Czech: manual for foreigners (Ivana Bozděchová, Karolinum, Praha 2015). The book is presented from the perspective of teaching Czech as a foreign language.
An article briefly informs why and how the manual was created, for whom it is designed, what is its content and which are possible ways to use it in the class. A number of specific exercises and examples of training in the class are presented - training of individual language skills and different linguistic phenomena is illustrated.
