The paper studies the philosophical thinking from the point of view of categories of actual, possible and necessary. On this basis, it defines the two basic kinds of philosophers and two basic kinds of philosophical argumentation.
On the one hand stands the reasoning based on heuristics that allows to place the actual under the necessity, on the other is the argumentation that against this procedure points to an unreducible actuality. Particular attention is paid to inhibitory effects of the second type of the philosophical thinking.
