The article presents the person and texts of Tomáš Halík in selected Polish press titles, both from the point of view of the frequency of his texts, and articles devoted to him. The topic is discussed in the context of the Polish interest in and fascination towards the Czech Republic, Czech culture and reception of Czech religious thought in Poland.
Tomáš Halík become one of the most well-known Czech prominent person and his contacts with Poland have already had a long history. For many circles he is considered to be the face of the Czech Catholic Church.
Not only his books are translated into Polish language, but as well many thesis of the Prague professor are published by Polish press, such as: the leading daily newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza, or magazines of Catholic intelectualls: Przegląd Powszechny, Tygodnik Powszechny, W drodze, Więź, Znak.
