Abstract
Retinal vein occlusions (RVO) are the second commonest cause of reduced vision due to retinal vascular disease after diabetic retinopathy, with branch retinal vein occlusions occurring 2 - 6 times as frequently as central retinal vein occlusions. In the chapter are described risk factors, pathophysiology, symptoms and various treatments for RVO.
