Summary and Typology of Astronomy Popularization in the Czech Republic

Abstract

Czech astronomy popularization is often considered to be widespread, enhancing science career interest and being important because of the lack of formal astronomy education. These are the reasons we focused on it.

We made a typology of popularization activities according to numerous criteria. The typology will be used in our research on the role of astronomy in science career interest.
