Some Points about Structuring Points: Aspects of the Uses of the Egyptian Verspunkte

Abstract

The study deals with the structuring points (or the so-called Verspunkte), which are employed both in the ancient Egyptian texts and the Akkadian cuneiform texts from Tell el-Amarna as technical marks to signal structural units within the individual texts.
