Abstract
The study systematically analyzes the role and importance of the leading personalities of the Czech agro-forestry archives of the modern era. The first deals with the formative personalities of the field of Václav Černý and Emanuel Janoušek, who founded the State archive of the agricultural and were the leading experts of agrarian history at the time of the first Czechoslovak republic.
The following text is dedicated to their followers Josef Křivka and Josef Tlapák who agro-forestry archives and agrarian historiography has successfully transferred the pitfalls of the second half of the 20th.century.
