Abstract
Sexually transmitted diseases and their internal symptoms Sexually transmitted diseases can manifest through a wide variety of symptoms affecting all organ systems, including symptoms which will take the patient to an internal medicine specialist. These internal symptoms can be classified into three basic groups - symptoms associated with the infection itself, symptoms occurring as a result of complicated course of the sexually transmitted disease and symptoms associated with immunopathological reactions.
In practice, in cases where differential diagnosis is necessary to keep the possibility of sexually transmitted diseases in mind, especially in young and sexually active patients, because correct diagnosis and adequate treatment usually leads to a rapid disappearance of the symptoms and prevents complications or permanent organ damage
