The quantity of short Czech vowels within a word in the language of members of the Czech minority in Croatia
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the research results phonetic features of speech of members of the Czech minority in Croatia. In analyzing the audio recordings we will focus on the quantity of short Czech vowels within a word.
Recordings obtained in the families of pupils at Czech elementary school in Daruvar were analyzed by listening, by measuring in the Praat and by phonetic tests.
