Abstrakt
Trojan war is one of the most famous narratives preserved from the classical antiquity. It was besung by Homer but we have also later versions describing the story, the so called Epic Cycle.
With all of these, we suppose that they go back to a pre-homeric oral tradition The paper summarises the current state of knowledge on the topic with added value of the most recent field discoveries
