Abstract
The Institute of Czech Studies (Faculty of Arts, Charles University) held between 16th and 20th August 2016 already the VIII. International Symposium on Czech as a foreign language.
Next to the traditional topics, such as Czech studies at foreign universities, language teaching methodology and teaching materials or description of Czech language for the purpose of teaching Czech as a foreign language there were also new ones, such as e-learning and the use of corpora in teaching Czech as a foreign language.
