Abstract
Long-term exposition of the Cast Collection of Ancient Sculpture of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, is aimed not only at the history of ancient Greek sculpture, but it also presents classical mythology as a source of artistic inspiration from Renaissance to modern age. With regard to the baroque chateau the installation is closely linked with the aristocratic environment, baroque theatre , history of collecting and aristocratic traditions of travelling south to Italy and Greece (Grand Tours).
