The Theory of Lingustic Senses and a new type of the Onomasiologic Dictionary. On the Russion ideographic dictionary

Abstract

The article presents the theory of linguistic senses as the specific, very general conceptual-linguistic units suitable for description of the semantic structure of the language. It is shown how this theory is used in a specific type of onomasiologic dictionary (Russian ideographic dictionary by N. Švedovová).
