One of the main objectives of the developed countries is of high quality and accessible health care. While the quality issue should be dealt with by teams of experts from the health, such as ministries, health insurance company or professional association, when assessing the availability of health care is already opens up the possibility of using the knowledge from other disciplines.
One such area is GIS, which can simulate and visualize the availability of health care. Presented poster focuses on the topic of assessing the availability of health care in the context of the current wording of the relevant legislative enactment.
Using tools ArcGIS Network Analyst is pointed out the possibility of meeting limit access to health care under this Regulation, which should lead as the basis for a broader discussion over the issue.
