Female sex-dominant advertising in selected BDSM web pages in the Czech Republic as an evidence of faltering social control: analysis of professional and community advertising

Abstract

The contribution deals with an analysis of two different types of online BDSM (bondage, sadism, masochism, dominance, submission) advertising - community and professional. In this case, professional means advertising paid sexual services and BDSM activities.

This research comments on distinctions between web profiles of female dominant users - dominatrixes (community pages) and pro-dommes (paid services). Constructing online identity of these females and the impact of social control is discussed as well.
