Abstract

The text addresses two related issues: teacher social competences and competences for teaching of personal and social education. Summarizes the results of both theoretical studies and own research of both authors.

The first theme is treated in terms of acquisition of various social skills through cooperative learning of future teachers. The second topic then interprets contemporary state of teachers competences to teach personal and social education (as a part of the national curriculum).
