Abstract
This text concentrates on presenting the Libri civitatis project and its main target to establish a modern edition, in terms of which it is to make the medieval and early modern age urban books of an extraordinary value accessible via critical. The part and parcel is represented by the digitisation of selected urban books and primarily the processing of the online catalogue composed of urban books from the earliest times (from 1310) untill 1620.
