Abstract
The authors provide insight contribution on teaching first aid for deaf and hard of hearing people. The paper presents a general theoretical definition hearing impairment, its origin and differences in communication with the hearing impaired.
The main part is dedicated to providing first aid, Guidelaines 2015 issued European Resuscitation Council and in the end it is stated in the legislative definition failure to provide first aid set in the Czech Republic under Section 150 of the Penal Code no. 40/2009 Coll.
