Abstract
The text informs about the preparations of the last exhibition of Czech modern visual art with sport themes which took place in summer 2003 during the 115th session of the International Olympic Committee in Prague. The exhibition tracks the development from the first reflections on the sport as a new phenomenon at the end of 19th century, through the transformation of the artists' views on sport and its use for communicating different topics, to the reception of sport at the turn of the millennium.
