Voltammetric determination of vanillylmandelic acid (VMA) and homovanillic acid (HVA) was studied using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) at a carbon ink screen-printed electrode (C-SPE) and platinum electrode (PtE). Optimal conditions were found for their determination in Britton-Robinson buffer pH 4 within the concentration range from 1.10-4 to 8.10-7 mol.l-1 at C-SPE.
PtE is possible to use for voltammetric determination at pH 4, but only in narrow linear dynamic range from 1.10-4 to 2.10-5 mol.l-1.
