Although food and gastronomy has taken part in the mass media since 1950s, there is not much media research of the gastronomy journalism and related media topics. This text focuses on different methodologies used for the reserach of gastronomic topics in media, especially the articles about research in print and food blogs, as the internet became part of modern culture and food magazines try to cooperate with the bloggers more often.
