ThDr. Karel Farský (1880-1927), Czech theologian.
His interest in historical topics began during his studies at the Prague Academic Grammar School in years 1892-1900. The theologian gradually realized that historiography played an important social role in the Czech 19th and early 20th century history.
That is why he created his theological concretization of Czech history under the infl uence of works of many historians (E. Denis, F.
Palacký, A. Rezek, V.
V. Tomek, Z.
Winter). A certain role in his eff ort was also played by his political affi liation with the Czechoslovak National Democratic Party since 1918.
