In the present invention, there are disclosed substituted dinitrophenyl tetrazoles of the general formula I, in which X = 1-R-1H-tetrazol-5-yl or 5-R-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl, wherein R is selected from the group consisting of: hydrogen, an alkyl group containing 1 to 16 carbon atoms, a cyclohexyl-, benzyl-, phenyl- or phenyl-substituted in positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 with one or more electron acceptor groups, and/or one or more electron donor groups, and n is 1, 2, 3 or 4. These compounds can be produced by simple syntheses and are characterized by high activity against mycobakteria inclusive of their multiresistant strains.
The invention also discloses a pharmaceutical composition containing as an active substance the substituted dinitrophenyl tetrazole of the general formula I, as well as the use of this substituted dinitrophenyl tetrazole as antituberculous drug.
