Abstract

The book introduces the reader to the statistical methodology. It contains introduction to the theory of probability and examples of probability ditributions.

All methods are demonstrated on examples with biomedical topics. Further are explained methods of descriptive and inductive statistics.

These methods include both estimates of probabilities and means and methods of comparing means, categorical data analysis, correlation and regression and selected nonparametric methods.
