The required main paper concentrates on topical questions of pre-school education in the Czech Republic. It briefly analyses the curricular reform of pre-school education after the year 1989, and through/via chosen statistical markers it detects critical parts limiting the approach to pre-school education.
The aim of this paper is to consider various aspects of the implementation of compulsory pre-school education which is being prepared these days. In the last part the author not only gives summary of the benefits of practical and theoetical pre-school education, but she also focuses on critical parts of the suggested amendment to the educational act.
